@audrimorse basically as you can see there is 4 aztecs in this pattern, in each of the 4 there is 2 d strings in the middle and then one of each colour going out on both sides up to the a strings. Basically I used the larks head knot to attach one d string and then on the front taking the next string (e) I put the string underneath both of the 2 d strings and I made a larks head knot where instead of the 2 strings being side by side there is now one e string on both sides of the d string which I already attatched. I then repeated this process until I had gotten to the a strings and then I do this 4 times. I'm not sure if this made any sense but you can ask me anything if needed and I might be making a tutorial on this method soon.
