@nightknots I knotted 2 inches between the loops and the beginning of the criss cross section. Then I started knotting each half separately for 3 sequences of the pattern (24 rows). It felt right when I tried to cross the two halves without it feeling too tight. Then I went back to the combined section. The right bracelet size for my wrist is 6 inches so I kept knotting until I achieved this length. Before and after the crossed section were pretty much symmetrical and I had plenty of thread left when I was done so I made long ties. -- You may need to adapt these measurements as they may vary depending on how long you want your bracelet to be, the tightness of your knots, the thickness of the thread you're using... I had no idea about these measurements when I started. I kept a measuring tape handy so I would knot for a bit and then measure again. |

@HelaZ How many inches of the 2 bracelet combined did you do before you broke them apart to do the cross cross thing?

@nightknots I got the idea from Margaron's video tutorial attached to pattern #10092. She demonstrates the technique by essentially braiding 3 bracelets with each other. It's the same technique with 2 bracelets as I did here.
