@sydney69 When you click add a variation, you will be shown a box with all of the knots in it (f for forward, b for backward, fb for forward backward, and bf for backward forward). You can change these knots to alter the pattern. You will be shown a preview of the pattern so you can see what it will look like.
I made this pattern not trying to have the orange spots on the side. Also in the future, if you want to change a pattern, I would suggest to click "add a variation" and play around with the knots until you get it to look like you want it to.
It's cute in theory, but the orange spots at the side won't be there without an extra knot and I didn't quite manage to get that to work (but I'm very new at this! I'm sure someone else will find a way 🙂 )
