@Traveler I was about 2โ in and realized it was wrong so I cut it off and added a ring at the end, something I had to learn. So this pattern is a winner in my book! ๐ ๐ฅ ๐ ๐

@sophcharrr In this one you will want to knot left to right the first section (4 colors in base pattern) and right to left for the second section (5 colors in base pattern).

Hey @Traveler, sorry for bugging you again, but I went to the pattern #159004 and in the notes, you say to knot from left to right and right to left for specific rows of bf and fb knots. Does this apply here? Thank you so much!

@sophcharrr There is a photo on pattern #159004 that shows you a similar end result. The pattern is different so there is no color change, but the shaping will be the same just to give you a visual. Like I said, it's knotted as written without the gaps.

@sophcharrr you can also check out the tutorial by @WovenKitty 'How to make a zig zag bracelet'. The tutorial explains how to do a zig zag bracelet where only f and b knots are used, but the bracelet has the same structure as this one. In this one you just need to do fb and bf knots instead like the pattern tells you ๐

@sophcharrr It's not a traditional shaped pattern. You just ignore the gaps on this one and it will come out as a zigzag. Instead of securing your bracelet with the knots at a diagonal, secure it so the knots go straight across like an alpha and just knot the knots as written. When you get to the gap, just start immediately knotting the next row, no gap. Does that make sense?
