@ananya123 Hi! I saw your comment and hope that it's not too late! It is possible to make a loop if you only have 1 string per colour, although it is a bit more difficult. I know of two options, although I think that I have only used one of them before 😊1. In this pattern you have an even amount of black and white strings, so that's fine, however you only have one of each of the 6 colour strings. To make a loop, you normally need 2, however you can do this. Cut each of your colour strings twice the length that you want it. Then if you are using embroidery floss, take away 3 of the strands of each string so you are only left with 3 strands per string. Then get one of your strings and fold it in half, so that there is 6 strings altogether again. Do the same with all 6 strings. Now take 2 of your strings and loop them through each other so they are connected at the center. To do this, keep one of them folded in half and unfold the other one and thread it through the folded one. Do this with all 6 coloured strings. This will give you 3 long strings with 2 colurs each so you can make your pool like normal. I hope that this makes sense, if not then I bet that Masha Knots or some other youtuber will have a tutorial on how to make loops with odd strings. 2. You could make each of your colured strings a little onger than you want them and fold them like you would normally, then make the loop and cut out the other string of the same colour. However, I don't know how this one will lok or how durable it will be. I am planning on making a starts and finishes tutorial with pictures, but I don't know how long it will take. Hope that these helps and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Bye! |

@esomogyi How did you make the loop? Since there isn’t two strings per color?
