Awesome! When I first found this site I didn't even know bracelet patterns existed, much less how to follow one or how to create one of my own. Once I got the hang of reading & following patterns (so I understood the logic of how they worked), I googled to find a printable blank template of a pattern diagram, the way it looks on here with the circles & connecting lines, so I could start filling in the circles & lines with colored pencils to make new designs of my own. It involves a lot of trial & error, and if it weren't for ERASABLE colored pencils, I would've filled up several industrial sized dumpsters with all my sheets of paper of messed up design attempts!! Haha ๐ ๐
@Watts I make all my designs by drawing on graph paper with colored pencils first, then if I think I might like how it looks, I start entering the rows of knots in the pattern generator on this site. I almost always end up modifying a few areas once I've seen the computerized preview. I don't really have a method to creating designs, it's usually just a matter of playing around with different kinds of lines, shapes, & color combinations until I see something that looks interesting to me.
