@dracula I would recommend a pattern without as many edges such as #34952. That's how's I started out, with a diamond shaped pattern and it worked out great. Masha Knots has a video called "CIRCLE BRACELET". That's the video I watched first because it's so simple. Her video "SHAPED BRACELETS TUTORIAL" goes more in depth on how to make any shaped pattern.
