@2hearts2be as you can see, others have knotted no gap between the arms and body too and some have even only done the head. I think you are more talented than you think you are 😄
The trick is to follow the outline of the gingerbread with your edge knots. That means on the inside of the arms, you've got to knot upwards, in the opposite direction of the usual knotting direction.

@knot_bella usually in a normal pattern, you can only do a knot, if all the previous knots are done. You knot from the top towards the bottom. But here you have to break this rule for the arms and legs.
@jagajaga13 for the inside of the arm you have to knot up instead of down and when you get to the body you knot down again. The direction of your knots shoul follow the outline of the gingerbread man.
