@cgarcia403 this will obviously vary for certain bracelets, but generally i hold the end of the string in my finger tips, measure to the center of my chest then fold it over so it's double the length and counts for two strings (there will be a loop at the beginning you can cut). if you're doing a pattern where one sting does a lot more knots that others, or you are doing a loop at the beginning you should cut more of certain colors.
