@Aussie_Izz that's actually the "buckle closure". I explain how I did it in the comments of pattern #87405. Long story short it's borrowed from the YouTuber Megan Morris (BB @Margaron) and she does a video explaining it. Give it a try. I think this is still one of my favorite techniques.
