@Nemorio Thanks! The end strings are only so the edges stay clean and straight without curling, they won't show at all- like a hidden border. Or you can just switch the end knot directions to make the border color visible. They could even be left out entirely leaving the pattern like a regular candy stripe, but the edges can sometimes get wonky. 😉
I got too many projects on hold to start this myself, but I can't wait to see someone else's photo -- it looks awesome! Are the 'E's at each end necessary? I feel it might be better with a border instead perhaps? One day I'll try it and see! 👍
