@Syd__ Thank you!! I actually started this pattern in the middle, worked my way out, and finished the edges with double half hitch macrame knots! (Very easy to find youtube tutorials.) Basically, I knotted straight rows of the pattern on the ends, then made the half hitch knots with my knotting string onto a separate piece of thread. Does that make sense?
