@MasonS you can leave loose strings, hide the loose strings in the knots at the edge or just make knots where there are left out knots in the pattern.
Hiding the loose strings in the edge is the same technique as making triangle ends. But there are also videos on YouTube that are specifically on making shaped bracelets.
