@supertunaa Hello! all the forward backwards and backward forwards knots are necessary! knots like those move your stings either to the left or right without making them cross over weirdly/ making bumps in your strings. When you do a forward backward knot it keeps the original position of your stings where as if you would do just a forward knot it would move your stings to the right, and if you were to do backwards to the left. that would make your strings out of order! Hope this explains!
hi! genuine question since I'm a beginner: are all the forward-backward or backward-forward knots necessary or can I just make "normal" forward or backward knots? (hope it makes sense)
