@winner3 I think what they did was made one of their knots onto 2 base strings and all the other knots onto just 1 base string. Hopefully that makes sense! 😄

No problem, and sorry if this annoys you but how did you do the pattern after the teardrop loop, I got the first two rows from the pattern and using your picture as a guide but when it comes to the top of the diamond I only have two red strings and the other four are white. Is there any way you could talk me through what to do until it gets to the start of the pattern? I totally get if you can’t, this patterns still gorgeous

This pattern is gorgeous! I’m going to do the same thing you did with the Harry Potter alphas in the middle and make a collection! It’s my first time reading a normal pattern without a tutorial though 😬 hopefully they turn out well because yours are stunning
