I did a darker and a lighter color and I didn’t like how it was turning out so I alternated a knot in the middle of row 3 in the pattern (I changed the forwards-backwards knot [pink string knot] by instead using the blue string making a backwards-forward knot). In my picture you can see I followed the pattern in the beginning but changed it a bit later on. It might be confusing but if you look at my picture you can see the difference changing a knot can make. I also would’ve made it longer but I didn’t make the white string long enough so be mindful of whatever your A strings are that they are long enough.
It’s a really fun easy cute pattern but I don’t recommend using light colors like I did I sent in a picture so hopefully you can see why you shouldn’t choose light colors
