@Alicia0214 yes, but only when knotting to the inside, not when knotting to the outside. When knotting to the outside, you can instead put the green leading string through the previous blue knot.
@halokiwi, by telling me to use the flat alpha technique, do you mean to do the change of color like Mashaknots tutorial, putting the old string inside the next knot ?
