it wasn't a pushpin, more like a safety pin? from a quick search they seem to be called brooch pin backs, hope it helps!

thanks for the compliment!! for the shape I followed the tutorial on how to make patches/applicators by beatlesall and then glued some felt and a pin to the back to be able to wear it ^^
