@bracelet_z it’s like a shaped normal 😊 I’m not sure how to explain it very well rn, but you group the base strings together at the edges. I think Alex’s Innovations has a good tutorial on YouTube as well, if that helps 👍

this is such a cool idea!! I used to see those crochet octopus keychains and wish i could make them but I don't know how to crochet : ( will definitely be making a lot of these!!

My original thought for this pattern was to have the tentacles just be the base strings hanging down, or to knot a few of them together like you would in a normal pattern. However, to make it more recognizable as a jellyfish/octopus, I added the legs onto the pattern itself and of course you can do that too 😊
