@imabilly_ im not sure what you mean by the 11 or 12 but it says 17 because that is the number of base strings however bracelet book includes the leading string which is why it says 18. so you'll have 17 base strings and then one string that is making the colored nots!
Ok, I am very confused by this pattern. It says 18 string when there is only 17 in the pattern. I am still going to make it but I’m very confused again.
