@hannahdruk I make the white string about one meter long, then when the string is getting to short to knot with you just cut a new string of one meter long and you knot it in the bracelet exactly how you would switch a colour (but then with the same colour white ofc) I hope this helped! I’m really sorry if the English is bad btw because it’s not my first language

@paytonian alphas are typically a lot harder, and they’re more like weaving. You also add in colors at certain times. With regular patterns, they are typically easier, and you use all the colors you have. At the top of this pattern there’s a video called “How to Make Alphas” and it’s really helpful. Don’t forget to keep trying! Your first few might not turn out that great but keep trying. Good luck!
