@elenaw one pink string and one black string as the leading strings 🙂 I recommend to check out a video on how to knot alpha bracelets to understand better.
@elenaw if you actually mean "how many" and no "how much" (not sure what exactly you mean), you need 16 base strings of any colour, one leading string of the background colour and one leading string of the colour of the letters.
