@AJB this is an alpha pattern. It sounds like you're potentially only familiar with normal bracelets. I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on the flat alpha technique to learn how to make alphas. For this pattern you need 11 base strings (colour doesn't matter) and 5 leading strings (one per colour)
