I have a memory of a place just like this in my childhood. Even till now, it was one of the most beautiful views I ever saw, and the memory stays with me until now. If I ever get the time lol, I would love to make this one day ❤️

@laynaluv so you start with taking the first 2 base strings, making 2 forward knots (basically tying them together twice; this also works with backward knots if you prefer that way!). after this, i leave them aside and then take the next 2 base strings and do the same thing (make 2 forward knots) and i do this all the way across, taking 2 strings at a time and making forward knots (in this case, this pattern had 50 base strings so i would have 25 pairs hence, 25 knots across). after this first row, you leave out the 2 outside strings (one on the far left and one on the far right) and put them aside. you pair up the next 2 strings and continue this process (making 2 forward knots) across. each row you finish you leave out the 2 outside strings and continue making the forward knots with the remaining base strings. i really hope this made sense, and if you need any clarifying, please let me know!☺️ |
