@rookieplay: Mine is 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) long (only the knotted part without the braid or the D ring. I‘m using a very thin and kinda rigid cord (Durable Borduur by Haak Katoen, crochet yarn for very thin needle sizes), this makes the knots pretty square and the whole thing kinda small. 🙂
