When mentioning usernames I recommend tagging them by putting an @ in front like this @coralinear and I also recommend putting # in front of pattern numbers so it links to them #100477 and #96167. This way it is a little easier to navigate.

The generator always picks the least amount of base strings automatically. That does not make sense for every pattern so for some patterns like this one it makes more sense to knot them based on the grid on top instead of based on the knotting instructions below.
