@zcm_star the top strings are called the base strings. You only knot onto them. In all patterns on braceletbook they're shown to be white, but you can pick any colour you like for them. They're only visible in the ties at the end, so I recommend selecting a colour that goes well with the other colours used in the pattern.You don't seem familiar with how to knot alphas. I recommend watching MashaKnots' video on the flat alpha technique. She explains it very well. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. |

hello im starting to make alpha patterns now and was intrigued by this one and wanted to test my luck I have a question though the top stings on this pattern are white I'm confused because they don't match the colors for the pattern(if that makes any sense) can some one help me?
