***FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO START THIS WITH TRIANGLE ENDS***Since you don't need all 12 strings for the beginning, the non-shaped part, you have to figure out a way to start your bracelet with an odd number of strings when you actually have an even amount of strings. (I was kind of stumped on this so I figured I would write a comment so if you try this bracelet for yourself you won't have to do all the hard work of trying to figure out how to bundle your strings 😎) We need our strings to be 1 1 1 1 1 1 6 because we only shape the right side of the bracelet, so we'll bring out those 6 strings one by one once we get to the ears. This is how you would group your strings to start triangle ends ----- 3 1 8 ---- then make a knot on each of those bundles. For the next row, you would take out one string from the left bundle, one string from the right bundle, and then put them beside our "loner" string in the center (remember to do a seperate knot on each of the single strings). Your strings should now be in this order ---- 2 1 1 1 7 ---- Then we take out one more string from each bundle, which leaves us with the grouping of ---- 1 1 1 1 1 1 6 ---- and once you knot this row you have the first row of your bracelet because you *technically* have 7 strings now. I hope this comment helped! If anyone has any questions about the triangle ends or wants me to clear anything up, please comment and I will try my best to help you Happy knotting! 😄 |
