i’ve been high-key obsessed with this app/website since i found it; from day one i’ve added to my to-dos with reckless abandon and no rhyme or reason.
i do these patterns mostly by knitting and crochet, but recently i’ve gotten into cross stitch.
i’ve have also been known to draw out a grid and paint the patterns; to that, the walls of my home can attest.
i’ve found that when knitting these patterns, you should do them as is (each square is one stitch up and one stitch across)
when crocheting in DC stitch, each square should be two stitches across. this helps shorten the difference b/t DC stitch height/width and you don’t end up with a skinny and stretched out pattern. i think the horizontally squished patterns would be perfect for single DC stitches but i haven’t tried yet
