I used to love making friendship bracelets when I was in elementary and middle school. I’ve always been drawn to any craft I could get my hands on. I found my old embroidery floss and made a simple 4 color chevron for myself and glued it on my wrist. It’s been on for over a year now.
When I started dating my boyfriend, he asked me to make HIM one using colors from Chicago (his home city) and wanted it glued on like mine. He said he didn’t want it to fall off till it rotted. Lol! he liked it so much he asked me to make him another using the colors of New Orleans (where he lived the past few years) and finally one with colors from a character from his favorite show. So now he has 3 bracelets knotted and glued, and I have a renewed love of tying bracelets! After his first chevron, I decided I wanted his second bracelet to have a different pattern, and while searching the internet, found BraceletBook! Instant addiction. Especially with the quarantine in Pennsylvania. I can’t wait to constantly find more patterns I love and make! (I’ve already got about 30 in my “to do” list!
I’m excited to have the resource, but also excited to be part of this community and hopefully make some new friends to connect with! Thank you ALL for your contributions, patterns, tutorials, and tips! I’m so excited to be here!
