Things you will need
- 2 different colors of string
- a third color of string that will be the base, and not show up
- a way of holding the bracelet in place while making (I'm using tape)
Step 1
Cut your strings and tie them together with a bit of string at the top for tying on a wrist later.
Step 2
Secure your knot and strings for tying.
Step 3
Separate the strings you want to show up from the base strings.
Step 4
Keeping your second color separated from your first color and the base strings, make a 4 shape with your first color.
Step 5
Bring the end of the string back under the base strings and up, through the loop from the 4.
Step 6
Pull the string so it makes a nice and tight knot.
Step 7
Repeating steps 4-5 (making single knots), make about 20-25 knots total (or more if you want), and keep track of the number so your sections will be nice and even.
Step 8
Take your second color string and wrap it above the spiral/chinese staircase tightly.
Step 9
Now move your first color string out of the way.
Step 10
Make one knot with your second color string.
Step 11
Make the same number of knots as you did with color one.
Step 12
Wrap your first color string around the spiral/chinese staircase tightly.
Step 13
Repeat steps 4-12 (tying and spiraling) until your bracelet is the desired length.
Step 14
Finish your bracelet by tying an end knot.

You have now finished tying your bracelet! I hope you found this tutorial helpful and you like how your bracelet turned out ๐Ÿ™‚
