Introduction:
In this tutorial I'll be showing you how to start/end your bracelet with an arch.

I'll be using as main pattern #173736, but it can be adapted to any normal pattern as long as it has at least 12 strings and an even number of strings for each colour.

Steps 1 to 7 show the start and steps 8 to 13 the end.
Step 1
Prepare your yarn without cutting each string individually but keeping 2 lengths together. Take the six outermost strings and bind them by the middle on your working surface (mine is an empty cookie box).
Step 2
Knot those 6 strings with an arch pattern (as example with pattern: #1817 ) to figure out the amount of rows you need to tie, count the number of strings waiting to be inserted and double that number. In the exemple case it is 24 rows.

Be sure that the strings on both ends are in the correct order with respect to your main pattern.

Once done put this first braid apart.
Step 3
Knot your remaining strings in the middle with a string that you will later use to attach your bracelet.
Step 4
Knot half of your central strings rows (here 6 rows) with these strings. Be inspired by your pattern. Be sure that the strings on the end are in the correct order with respect to your main pattern.
Step 5
Curve your first knotted part and place it atop of the second part.
Step 6
Start knotting your main pattern.
Step 7
Tie your main pattern.
Step 8
Now that you have completed your main pattern, take the 6 most outer strings on each side and knot the arch pattern for 12 rows (for bigger pattern the number of centre strings).
Step 9
Continue the main pattern with only the centre strings for half of your central strings rows (here 6 rows).
Step 10
Bind the middle strings with 2 of the strings. I use macrame knots (aka reef knot - you can find it by searching on Wikipedia). Those strings will be used to attach your bracelet.
Step 11
Knot together the strings from the outer parts, 2 by 2, respecting the order.
Step 12
Flatter the completed bracelet.
Step 13
Cut all the strings but the 2 ones to attach the bracelet.
