Supplies you will need
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ruler
- String (any kind works)
- Beads
Step 1
Cut your strings. Two strings should be 4 feet (122 cm) long and one should be 2 foot (61cm) long. Knot them together and leave about 3-4 inches (8-10 cm) of access string. Then tape it down.
Step 2
Making a square knot: First make sure that the middle string is the shortest string and tape it down. Then with your right string making a “P”. Then take the left string and place it over the right string. Then take the left string and go under the middle string and pull it through the “P” and tighten it.
Step 3
Step 3 is just the opposite of step 2, but I will still explain it. With the left string make a four. Then with the right string lay it over the left string. Then with the right string go under the middle string and pull it through the four and tighten it.
Step 4
Repeat Step 2-3 10 times.
Step 5
Put a bead on the middle string then do step 2 and 3. Repeat this until desired length (I did 10 beads).
Step 6
Do Step 4 again.
Step 7
Knot your string and then cut of access so that there is 3-4 inches (8-10 cm) of string left. (If you have less than 3-4 inches left its fine). Then knot the ends of the access.
Step 8 (optional)
To make your bracelet adjustable cut a piece of string about a foot long (31 cm). Gather your two ends so that they are side by side. Place the string under it and make a square knot a couple of times. (Step 2 and 3). Cut off the access string.
