Hello @JumboThank you for the compliment!🙏👍😃 Yes, I used the straight edge technique, I am a big fan of this. 😍 So I included it into the pattern right away. You can follow this pattern as is, and you are getting the straight edges. I found out, it is important to knot less tight but a little more loosely, so that the bracelet does not twist and turn itself all that much. For the start: As follows, I tell you, what I used as a start, but I would not recommend this one. I tried it out as an experiment, but for me, it is not so good in terms of wearing comfort. I try to describe it, but feel free to message me your mail address, I can send you some more pictures if you whish. You can also check out the picture of the user reyfa_fati for pattern #1, to grt an idea. How ever, if I was you I'd use a normal teardrop loop or a loop with a triangle start. I used a diagonal start. My first row was to start with the violet color, row 11 to 27. I took 5 black strings and folded them in the middle to get the 10 sgrings needed. I made a small loop and then tied all 10 strings together to secure the loop. Then I tied the color strings on to all the black strings with a bf knot. One end was going to be the long string to work with, the other end was about 5cm long. After i had tied all the color strings including the royal blue string, I continued with the black strings in the normal way of doing a triangle end. When I started knotting, I knotted in the short ends of the color strings to secure them, so that I would be able to cut them safely afterwards. Hope, this helps. If not, I can send you few more pictures, also of the bracelet's backside. Stay safe, happy knotting! 👍 😇 |
