@Nahoes i just added a n extra string on each edge making them forward-backward knots (for the right side) and opposite on the left. I do that quite often for patterns that don’t have consistent knots on the edges to ensure a straight edge. I think there’s tutorials out there to do that. I enjoy adding borders as it helps make the patterns pop and gives it a cleaner look

@BubblyCat she was a rescue from the streets when she was a puppy in a very very poor neighbourhood. She's my cuddle-bunny and the goofiest girl I have ever known. 😜 🤪 🤪 Now she has a pretty necklace and I plan on making more for her... because she deserves it! 😍 😘
