@Astrizia No that makes perfect sense! Thank you so much for explaining it to me. I've wanted to make normal patterns as wall hangings for a while but i was just waiting for inspiration, thanks for the help!

@savannahe It's attached with the normal knots, but where it is needed the thread runs on the back of it. So I applied any that was next to each other first and then just built it up around them. Sorry not sure how to explain it 🤔 The only really annoying ones were the two at the end of each side since I had to run the thread all along the back.I've seen the same method used for normal keychains but sadly don't know of any tutorial on the top of my head. |

@Astrizia How did you attach the threads to the dowel? Since the same colors aren't all right next to each other

@natbunny same over here - I just finally chose my colors and found the right ones (I have so far about 700 skeins that I transformed into bobbins & now there’s my DMC collection from over 120 craft cord skeins that are waiting for their transformation...) and those numbers are only estimated, I’m sure that I have more... ^.^,’

@DBOE yay! That’s always the hardest part for me, cutting the string then getting started. After that it’s just following the pattern 🙂
