@bianca1405 Correction to my previous comment: To highlight the path of a string, if using a phone screen (I'm not sure if this works in the iPhone app, but it works while using the BB website through a browser like Chrome), just lightly tap once on whichever string you want to highlight on the pattern diagram. If you tap on a knot it'll show a drawing of the direction that knot is to be tied, but if you tap anywhere along a string between knots (or at the very top or bottom ends) it'll highlight the string's path. 😉 😊 |

@bianca1405 And the same is true of the blue strings; the inner & outer ones change places with each repetition of the pattern. If you right-click (or press & hold on a phone screen, I think, or maybe double tap quickly?) along any string in a pattern, it'll highlight that string's path throughout the pattern, which can make it easier to follow & count the number of knots of that color along the path. Hope this helps! 😊 ❤️

@bianca1405 Thanks for adding that advice. Before I cut my strings for any bracelet I always count the number of knots each string has in the pattern. In this pattern the black strings have approx twice the number of knots per string as the blue ones, so you're right, they use up more string length. The outer & inner black strings actually switch places with each repetition of the pattern, so unless you're just making a short keychain, your bracelet will likely have 4 or 5 repetitions of the pattern, so the inner & outer black strings should use about equal amounts. 😊

for anyone wondering about string length, i made all the strings equal at about one metre long, the outside black strings need to be at least a foot longer and all the blue like 4 inches shorter
