In order to recreate the effect of what pattern craft did, I had to start at the base of what was to be my triangle, which for me was line 13. I taped down my strings, with ample to spare in the order of the knots on line 13 and proceeded with the pattern, after which I worked backward to create a triangle with single colored end.
It looks like in order to begin this pattern with a single color triangle end, she simply cut the pattern to line 4, and substituted white for the border color
@rais14 it's basically the reversed process. You take the string you want to be the colour of the edge and do a fb or bf knot on all knots of one half. Then you do on all but one, then all but two. I'm pretty sure I've seen someone do it in a video. I'll go looking for it.
