I love the extra string to equal out the stripes, its such a neat detail! Thank you for including it. I'm going to make it for a friend who just recently came out for pride month! ❤️
If you want to do a loop, which seems to be what you want to do based on your post on reddit, I recommend pattern #13099 instead. It will look the same, but has an even amount of strings for all colours. There is a variation by @Trombone where you can see how to tie that pattern as a flag with five stripes.
@xaM003 to segent-knot the pattern, I'd knot it in diagonals from left to right like a candystripe
String order: aabbcccbbaa
Steps - take the left most string and do one f and one fb knot - take the pink string you made the fb knot onto and do one f and one fb knot - take the white string you made the fb knot onto and do two f knots and one fb knot - take the pink string you made the fb knot onto and do one f and one fb knot - take the blue string you made the fb knot onto and do two f knots
This is my 4th bracelet and first attempt at following a pattern instead of a tutorial. I’m doing the row by row method but it looks super wonky and ugly. Sometimes bits of the other strings peek through in the knots and there are large gaps. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong? I had none of those issues when segment knotting with a tutorial. Is there a way to segment knot this pattern?
Hey mabey a weird question I want to make this bracelet but I have no idea how long the thread has to be. Is someone able to help me with that, just in estimation or something. Thanks in advancethe if anyone's able help
