I just design them. 1500 patterns in six months But the answer is simple: count the knots of each colour, the most a colour appears, the more thread of that colour you would need. For example, in a loop of this pattern there are 140 knots (14 threads for 10 rows). You will need longer of light green and orange threads , and shorter red and white threads.
