@RunHappy you basically tie on the string thatโ€™s in the image marked to be tired and the loose string. lots of people have wonderful shaped normal pattern tutorials that might explain it better

@RunHappy I'm not sure what exactly your question is, but since only one knot is skipped, the amount of loose string will be small.
