@carlamoen have you tied triangle ends before? If yes, you should ne able to tie shaped bracelets too. It's the same technique and you don't even need to figure out where to put the triangle (not a triangle in this case) because the pattern tells you which knots to leave out.
What you need to do is the following: Tie the pattern until row 10. Do all the knots it tells you to do and leave loose strings on the left. Then take the ten loose strings on the left and basically do what you would do, if you were tying a triangle end (do bf knots along the edge and hide the strings in these knots)
Then with the same ten strings basically do one edge of a triangle start. After you tied that edge, you can continue normally.
@halokiwi apparently all the shaped bracelets I made had videos so I was confident, but then I realized the videos don’t show how to read the pattern and I guess that’s my struggle. I’ll just stick to what I know for now 😂
