@Ezmerelda it doesn't matter wqhich knot you use but I prefer forward knots so I make all my same colour knots forward while still adding the backwards knot when needed for better segment knotting. If you don't like my pattern formation then just switch the same colour string to whatever knot you want, I'm not changing the way I make my patterns, sorry

I love this bold design, but a question. In the odd number rows, the third knot is sometimes a backward knot and sometimes a forward knot. But in every case, one is joining two strings of the same color. So, for simplicity, why aren't these rows all just forward-forward-forward? I can't see that it would make a difference in the pattern. ๐Ÿ™‚
