@katline276 You should only see the white string you're using to make the chain! All the other strings are hidden by those knots in the chain. That side will be a little chunkier than the other side, which is why you may have to adjust the number of knots to make both sides the same length

@katline276 You tuck the strings from the stem back in with the other strings you are knotting the chain over! I explain it better in my instructions: In order to make the stem on the clover, just knot the dark green over the white 4 or 5 times straight down where it indicates on the pattern. To secure it to the side chain, first knot the first 3 of the side chain, then bring in the two strings from the stem, then knot the other 3 to finish off the chain. On the opposite side chain of where you secure the stem, knot only 5 times instead of 6 to make it look more even. |
