Or if you want a loop, look up the video tutorial by empatheo on YouTube called Teardrop Loop While All Strings Are Different Colors
For a fully closed regular loop, you can use the outline color A (double-length folded in half) to knot the loop like normal around the other 4 single colors. Then very carefully pull the single strings through the loop to their opposite corresponding sides so that the ends are hidden inside the loop. Fasten/close the loop with 1 or 2 square knots, then start knotting the pattern very gently to start so you don't accidentally pull the single strings all the way out of the loop 😄
