@halokiwi thank you. I haven't made many patterns and I wasn't able to hide the yellow at the top so I just tried to make them as neat as possible. I kinda thought it looked like more dirt falling down or something. I didn't love it but also felt it was already too wide but I will keep it in mind for any future patterns thank you 🙂
@kirraanne That’s awesome, isn’t it funny how trucks fascinate them so much. I am a nanny. And I actually already started this and got thru the pattern once!! I made the questionable decision to use variegated thread and I’m not sure I love it but I’ll keep going and see how it looks. I assumed the yellow at the top was the sun or something like @halokiwi said.
@kirraanne I don't know, if you need or want advice, but my advice for what to do about this would be to make the yellow knots look like something, if it is not possible to hide them. In this case a sun might work well, but in other cases with other colours clouds, birds or hearts might work well. Another option is to make the pattern bigger so you are able to have enough strings of the background colour to hide the strings of the other colours, but I'm assuming that's not what you want 🙂
@allshiny That's exactly why I did it! I made a whole heap of emergency vehicles too because I have a 2yo who is OBSESSED with construction and emergency vehicles! 😊
I don't love the yellow bits at the top but I couldn't get around them cos I'm still a bit new at this but I do want to try and do some other construction vehicles soon too!
