On the McGill Pain Index, CRPS ranks 42 out of 50, making it one of the most severe pain conditions of all, even rated more painful than childbirth, amputation and the pain associated with cancer."
basically, through severe nerve trauma it causes the tiniest and thinnest nerves to go wonky and causes severe and incurable pain. a lot of people take their lives because the pain is so intense. I put the flames in the background because there's a slogan "burning for a cure" that people use who have this. my mom has CRPS so i made the pattern to represent her and her colleagues who have it
