ohhhhh then i agree with this pattern 100000000% that was a problem my brother delt with, he was afraid to let his emotions out...

this means that we should normalize boys expressing their emotions. Often, boys will be told to “man up” rather than addressing their own pain, so this pattern calls for a change in things like that.
