@rstring5 I would do 12 inches for each string. So, if you were to use a wooden dowel for a wall hanging you would do 24in of string so that you are able to tie it on the dowel, have room for the patter, and have enough string leftover to do something with the endings if you wanted.

@Create183 ... for each individual strings or if you halve them? because since it’s a wall hanging you would halve them for the stick you use to hold it...

@rstring5 I would maybe do 12in but I haven’t made this pattern yet 😅. But always over estimate so you don’t run out of room <3
