@oceanknot You're right, my base strings are thicker. I couldn't tell you exactly what thread this is, as this was string that was sent to me. Sorry! I can best describe it as a thin, non-fuzzy yarn.
@aiRia Hi! I feel like I need to comment on this. To have straighter edges and patterns, you can do the flat alpha technique & the straight edges technique. For the straight edges, you simply do a forward-backward knot (twice to start the new row) and on the left side, you will always do a backward-forward knot. (Still doing that knot two times to start the new row). The flat alpha technique (for the alphas to be flat and also to keep the edges straight and neat), is done by knotting more loose when there are big spaces of single-colored knots and then making your knots tighter near a color switch. With practice, you can master your bracelets.
